THE WINNERS WERE SELECTED
On March 18, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an awarding ceremony for the winners of the "Our Lands – These Lands are Paradise Lands..." photography competition, organized among the members of the School of Young Diplomats in honor of International Nowruz Day. The event was attended by professors and students of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy, as well as young talents who stood out for capturing the beauty of Turkmen nature and the picturesque corners of the country through photography.
The aim of the competition was to visually represent, through photography, the high international reputation achieved by Neutral Turkmenistan as a result of the peace-promoting foreign policy initiatives of the Esteemed President. Additionally, the competition sought to depict the country's beautiful landscapes and dynamic socio-economic development while fostering an appreciation for photo-journalism among students of journalism and other professions in higher educational institutions. Moreover, it is aimed to instill a sense of respect and love for nature and the Homeland.
Based on the judges' total scores, the winners were:
1st place: Oguljennet Amanova, the 12th-grade student of the Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy Specialized Boarding School in Ashgabat
2nd place: Resulnazar Taytyrov, the 12th-grade student of the 8th Secondary School of the Etrek District of the Balkan velayat
3rd place: Begmuhammet Hanmammedov, the 12th-grade student of the 2nd Secondary School of Arkadag City.
Honorable mentions were awarded to:
Shadiya Muzaffarova, the student of the 16th Secondary School of the Shabat District of the Dashoguz velayat.
Ogulgerek Gochmyradova, the 12th-grade student of the 19th Specialized Secondary School with an advanced foreign language curriculum of the Magtymguly District of the Balkan velayat.
Jeyhun Hojageldiyev, the 11th-grade student of the Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy Specialized Boarding School of Ashgabat.
Hojamyrat Aganiyazov, the 9th-grade student of the 28th Secondary School of thr Yoloten District of the Mary velayat.
Ahmet Babajanov, the 8th-grade student of the 1st Specialized Foreign Language Secondary School of Dashoguz City of the Dashoguz velayat.
The winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, as well as those receiving honorary mentions, were awarded souvenirs on behalf of the Bagtyyarlyk District Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
