Regular Event Organized by "EcoClub"
On November 8, 2024, at the Secondary School No. 68 named after Annaniyaz Artyk in Ashgabat, events were held under the slogan “Save the Nature, Save the World!” organized by the “EcoClub” of the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
As part of the organized events, active members of the “EcoClub” prepared presentations. The first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, Tekedurdyyeva Lachin, demonstrated a presentation entitled “Why is the Ecology Important?” and the second-year student of the Faculty of International Law, Gaipov Muhammedemin, presented on “International Environmental Law.” During their presentations, the students spoke in detail about the new green zones being systematically created in the country, including rapidly growing young forests and parks that bloom year-round. They emphasized that the foundation of the ecological policy pursued by our government is the harmonization of societal development with the natural environment and the creation of a clean ecological environment for living. A major aspect of this policy is the state initiative to turn our country into a blooming land, ensuring a clean ecological environment.
During the presentations, students asked questions of interest, and the presenters responded in detail.
Additionally, as part of the event, the active members of the “EcoClub,” together with the second school students, planted tree saplings on the school grounds.
Such events contribute to developing environmental awareness among young people, help engage students in ecological initiatives, and provide them with opportunities to reflect on their response to global environmental challenges.
