A festive ceremony under the name “Turkmen carpet, a model of elegance”
On April 24, 2023, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a musical celebration called “The model of elegance, the Turkmen carpet” in honor of the national holiday of the Turkmen carpet.
The event attended Annabibi Hannyyeva, a carpet maker of the Ashgabat artistic carpet manufacturer, Sulgun Reyimova a teacher of Ashgabat secondary school number 25, and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the festive ceremony, interesting stories were told about the ancient traditions of the Turkmen people carpet making, embroidery, sock knitting, and other traditions inherited from our ancestors.
The students of the institute noted they spend their free time studying and modernizing our national art inherited from our ancestors. In addition, singers of our institute performed sang songs praising our national heritage.
At the end of celebration ceremony, they thanked our Hero Arkadag, our Arkadagly Serdar, for their state work in developing our nation and strengthening the foundations of the Turkmen family.
