A TRAINING SEMINAR ON KEY AREAS WAS HELD
On December 4, 2024, a lecture on the key areas of Turkmenistan's diplomacy was organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the lecture, Atajan Mowlamov, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, provided an in-depth discussion on the relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, their cooperation within international organizations, as well as the distinctive features of Pakistan's diplomacy.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that on September 11, 2024, with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, several projects in the fields of energy, transport-communication, and logistics were launched. These projects include the main stage of the Serhetabat-Herat Gas Pipeline of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Gas Pipeline, as well as the construction of the optical fiber communication system and the «Shatlyk-1» gas compressor station in Mary velayat.
Additionally, the first phase of the Turgundi-Herat railway, including the Turgundi-Sanabar section and the construction of the Warehouse Complex at the «Dry Port» of the Turgundi railway station, alongside the economic importance of the 177-meter-long railway bridge at the Turkmen-Afghan border in Serhetabat-Turgundi railway crossing were discussed.
This meeting left a deep impression on the students, who received comprehensive answers to their questions of interest.
