A SEMINAR ON THE ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF THE «CENTRAL ASIA REGIONAL ECONOMIC COOPERATION (CAREC)» PROGRAM
On June 25, 2026, a seminar on the economic significance of the «Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC)» program has been held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Department of International Economic Relations and was attended by students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
The session was conducted by lecturer N. Meredov from the Department of International Economic Relations. During the seminar, participants were introduced to the economic importance of regional development projects implemented within the framework of the CAREC program, with special emphasis on transport and logistics systems, as well as trade and energy corridors. Moreover, the significance of Turkmenistan's constructive international initiatives, as well as the importance of strengthening regional economic cooperation was explained in detail.
It was highlighted that such initiatives contribute to the advancement of our country’s peaceful and cooperation-oriented economic strategy, while also promoting sustainable development and regional integration.
The seminar was interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions and they received detailed responses on the topics of their interest.
