Conference dedicated to Magtymguly Fragi was held
On October 24, 2024, a conference was held at the Institute of International
Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the
significance of the international forum titled “Interrelation of Times and
Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development”. This forum was held in honor
of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classical Eastern poet and great
philosopher Magtymguly Fragi. Professors, lecturers and students of the institute
took an active part in it.
At present, significant work is being carried out in our country to deeply study the
life and creative path of the Great poet. The unveiling of his statues in numerous
countries around the world stands as a clear symbol of the strengthening bridges of
friendship between nations. In honor of Magtymguly Fragi’s grand anniversary,
several ceremonial events have been organized both within the country and abroad.
At the end of the conference, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to
Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for bringing global recognition to
Magtymguly Fragi’s literary heritage, and sound strong , long-life and success in
their undertakings.
