A SEMINAR ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES WAS HELD
On October 21, 2025, a seminar was held at the Turkmen-Indian Center for Information Technologies under the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, with the participation of teachers from higher educational institutions of the country, including the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Representatives of Departments specializing in information technology (IT) took an active part in the event.
As is well known, digital education plays an important role in the development of the digital economy. In accordance with the Concept for the “Development of digital education system in Turkmenistan”, and taking into account the requirements of the digital society and digital economy, all levels of education are being systematically modernized to prepare individuals for life and professional activities. In this regard, the main purpose of organizing the seminar was to further promote ongoing efforts to advance digital education, the digital economy, and cybersecurity in higher education institutions.
The agenda of the seminar included such issues as analyzing the content of informatics, information and communication technologies, and innovative technologies taught in general education institutions; improving curricula for modern computer technologies taught within the framework of programs for higher and secondary vocational education; and mastering knowledge related to artificial intelligence. The participants shared their opinions, experiences, and professional knowledge on these topics.
Thus, the seminar played an important role in enhancing the digital capabilities of educational institutions and ensuring the effective functioning of the digital learning environment. The participants sincerely expressed their gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and the Honorable President for implementing comprehensive measures aimed at developing the national digital education system.
