OSCE ONLINE LECTURE COURSE IN JOURNALISM
On May 23, 2023, at the Institute of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat organized an online lecture course on the topic “Recent trends in the field of media and information.” from 23 to 25 May 2023.
The first day of the course was attended by students of the Faculty of Journalism and teachers from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the International University for the Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan.
The online seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by Ambassador John MacGregor, Head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat. Then the floor was given to the expert of the organization, Professor Natalia Drozd, who delivered lectures on the topic "The role of the media in world politics at the present stage" and "Digital technologies in diplomatic activity"
At the end of the lecture, students asked questions to experts, to which they received detailed answers.
