Students Visited the State Library
On February 26, 2026, students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan visited the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan to become acquainted with the world of books. The visit was organized as part of activities aimed at promoting reading culture, academic research, and the effective use of library resources among young people.
During the visit, the students became familiar with the rich and diverse collection of the library, which includes literature on international relations, diplomacy, politics, world history, economics, law, and foreign languages. Special attention was given to modern academic publications, reference materials, and electronic databases that support students' educational and scientific work. The participants were also introduced to rare and valuable books preserved in the library's archives, which reflect the cultural and historical heritage of the country and the world. The library staff provided detailed information about available resources, reading halls, digital services, and research opportunities. Students learned how to search for academic materials, use catalog systems, and access electronic information platforms. In addition, they were informed about cultural, scientific, and educational events regularly organized at the library, including exhibitions, seminars, and meetings with scholars and writers.
Such visits play an important role in strengthening students' professional competence and intellectual development. They encourage independent learning, critical thinking, and research skills, which are essential for future specialists in international relations. Moreover, spending free time in educational environments helps young people use their time productively, increases their motivation to study, and fosters a lifelong interest in reading and self-improvement.
