ROUND TABLE HELD "SOCIAL HEALTH - KEY TO PEACE AND PROSPERITY"
On June 26, 2025, the Central Asia Drug Action Program (CADAP) held a round table on the theme "Social Health - Key to Peace and Prosperity" in honor of World Drug Day. The main goal of the seminar was to highlight the harm of drugs for human health and society and the importance of international cooperation in combating their illicit trafficking.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan, the State Border and Migration Service of Turkmenistan, the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports, Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Women's Union of Turkmenistan attended the event.
During the round table reports were delivered on the following topics “A safe Environment - the Basis for Preventing the Use of Illegal Substances,” “Early Detection and Treatment of Addictions: the Key to Public Health,” and “Developing Risk Resistance in Young People: the Role of Education.”
