Faculty members and students of the institute participated it.
During the lecture, the Ambassador highly praised Turkmenistan’s peace-loving policy and its status of Permanent Neutrality, noting that beginning his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan is a great honor for him. In his speech, he drew special attention to the role of diplomacy in the modern world, the importance of regional cooperation, and the similarities between the African continent and Central Asia. The detailed information provided by the diplomat, regarding the history, culture, economic opportunities, and educational system of the Republic of Chad arose great interest among the students.
As is known, diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Chad were established on October 10, 1994. Since then, the two states have actively cooperated within the framework of multilateral diplomacy. The Republic of Chad is one of the countries that consistently supports Turkmenistan’s policy of Permanent Neutrality and its international peace initiatives.
At the conclusion of the lecture, students received answers to questions that interested them. This meeting served not only as a source of new information for the students but also as a great opportunity to learn the nuances of diplomacy from an experienced diplomat.
After the lecture, the honored guest visited the National Museum of Turkmen Diplomacy and the UNESCO club “Culture of Peace” operating at the institute.
