A meeting with the Ambassador
On February 12, 2025 a meeting was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara), Eduardo Enrique Hernandez. The meeting was attended by the students of our institute.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala spoke about the history of the Republic of Guatemala, its foreign policy and long – term fruitful relations with this friendly country as our Turkmenistan as well as its main directions, including the works being done to expand these relations.
Additionally, the diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Guatemala were established on August 22, 1996. The friendly relations between the two countries are developing day by day. Turkmenistan is further expanding its relations with the Republic of Guatemala within the framework of the United Nations Organization.
This meeting helped young international specialists studying at the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy to expand their further knowledge in the field of international relations and diplomacy.
