OUR LAW STUDENTS BECAME WINNERS
The final round of the ‘’Examplary study’’ competition on Civil and “Criminal Cases”, announced by the “Hukukchi’’ economic society, was held on December 22, 2023. The final round of the competition was held at the ‘’Grand’’ hotel in Ashgabat. This competition was attended by the student of faculty of Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State University named after Makhtumguly International University for Humanity and Development, and students of the State Service Academy under the President of Turkmenistan. A total of 36 teams participated in the competition which was planned as an educational experience 16 of them in the “Civil Case’’ and 2 in the ‘’Criminal Case’’ managed to pass the first round of the competition.
The competition was held in order to combine the theoretical knowledge of students and receive in higher education through practice, to further improve their life skills and legal skills, which are necessary for their future professional work, to contribute to the development of legal consciousness, education and culture in the country. The aim of competition was analyzed the controversial situation based on the legislation of Turkmenistan and its example was conducted in the form of organizing court proceedings. The law students from our institute from the team “Criminal Cases’’ the 3rd year students Leyli Arapova and Altyn Babyshova became finalist. The 2nd year students from the team “Civil Case” Intizar Taganyyazova became winner of “The best Speaker’’. Winners of the competition were aworded certificates and prizes.
