EACH VOICE IS A WAY TO A BRIGHT FUTURE!
On March 26, 2023, one of the important events for the country and advantageous for the people - elections of members of the Mejlis, velayat, etrap, city People's councils and councils of Turkmenistan were held. In the 2nd polling station of Berkararlyk Etrap, which is located at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, this important political event had a high level of organization.
Elections held on the basis of democratic, transparent and open principles were conducted on the basis of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Electoral Code, and all conditions were created to conduct them in the framework of our national laws and international norms.
Election activities started early in the morning with musical events and festivities. On a pleasant spring morning, the music filled with great enthusiasm increased the voters’ feelings of pride for our Motherland.
It should be noted that representatives of the international observer group of major international organizations such as the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe came to observe the elections. Guests were welcomed with national traditions.
Students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan actively voted for their worthy candidate in the 2nd polling station of Berkararlyk Etrap. About 2,000 voters voted in the respective polling station and once again revealed their political activity. The members of the election committees took a very responsible approach to ensuring the voting rights of the student youth. Our youth, who are the future of the country, took their first political steps during the Revival of the new era of the Stable State and had the opportunity to vote for the most worthy candidate. Following the original tradition, souvenirs were presented on behalf of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly to the students who turned 18 and voted for the first time at the polling stations.
And this was another expression of the fact that special attention is paid to the young generation in our country.
In general, the activities on the day of the election become a clear expression of our national democracy becoming more circular and a symbol of the fact that the basic foundations for the implementation of deep reforms in the modern Turkmen society will be provided.
