Honoring women, who are considered the pillars of the family, is a national tradition of the Turkmen people that dates back to ancient times. In the modern era, our country has established all necessary conditions for women to lead dignified lives and engage in creative labor, while gender equality is strictly ensured at the legislative level. Systematic programmatic work is being carried out to uphold their rights and interests, support the family unit, and protect motherhood and childhood. Strategic plans defining goals for ensuring gender equality across various spheres of state and public life are being successfully implemented. The primary objective of the conference was to promote the large-scale activities being undertaken in this direction.
It was emphasized that women play a vital role in modern society. Thanks to the opportunities created within the country, Turkmen women work productively in all sectors of the economy, making a worthy contribution to the development of the state. During the conference, an in-depth discussion took place regarding the activities aimed at the comprehensive empowerment of women. These efforts are conducted under the leadership of the Esteemed President, who continues the noble traditions of the Hero-Arkadag in honoring mothers and women.
