A SCIENTIFIC AND CREATIVE CONSULTATION WAS HELD WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF A LEADING INSTRUCTOR
On December 29, 2025, a scientific and creative conference on "Turkmenistan's Policy of Permanent Neutrality, the Role of International Law in Ensuring International Peace, Safety, and Sustainable Development in Turkmenistan" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was organized by the Young Lawyers scientific club of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law Studies, with the participation of master's students from the Faculty of International Law. The conference was moderated by Murat Khaitov, Head of Department of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, Senior Lecturer, Scholar, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Turkmenistan, and Honored Elder of the People.
During the scientific and creative conference, the professor spoke in detail about the legal status of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, the role of the UN in ensuring international peace and security, the importance of international law for ensuring the sustainable development of our country, and how the adoption of high-quality legislation guarantees the country's reliable development and progress in the economic, cultural, and social spheres. The professor also emphasized the importance of internationalist specialists, noting that legal acts adopted in our country are being brought into line with international law and that these processes are constantly being improved.
Regularly holding such meetings at the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy significantly contributes to improving young student’s legal concepts and developing additional educational skills in this area.
