A SEMINAR HELD WITH MENTOR-DIPLOMAT
On March 4, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a seminar titled “Swiftly phased, you go forward, steed - your glory, Independent Motherland!”. The event was dedicated to the motto of 2026, “Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”. The seminar was conducted by Nurberdi Amanmuradov, a senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the mentor-diplomat provided the students with a detailed overview of the country’s outstanding achievements in foreign policy, economics, science, and education attained over the 35 years of the Motherland’s sacred Independence. Particular emphasis was placed on the symbolism of this year’s motto. N. Amanmuradov underlined that Turkmen horses represent a source of national pride and serve as a living embodiment of the rich cultural heritage that the nation has diligently preserved and refined over many centuries.
At the conclusion of the seminar, students were given the opportunity to ask questions and express their gratitude to the mentor for the insightful discussion. Such meetings have become a vital element in the training of future specialists, allowing them to gain invaluable professional experience directly from seasoned masters of diplomacy.
