Scientific-Practical Conference on the International Transport system
On March 18, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference entitled “International Initiatives of Turkmenistan on Transport Transit Capabilities between Asia and Europe.” The conference was organized by the members of the Turkmen Logistics Association, the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Additionally, representatives of the transport and logistics system of our country, teachers and students of high educational institutions also attended the conference.
Speakers Sahra Amanova, Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Logistics Association, Oleg Borisovich, Director of the Asia Transport Private Enterprise and others spoke about the new policy pursued by the President in the field of transport and development. Moreover, the speakers underlined that transport diplomacy opens up opportunities for the development of our foreign policy in accordance with “The President of Turkmenistan’s Program for the Development of Transport Diplomacy for 2022-2025.”
It was underlined at the scientific-practical conference that joint meetings, seminars, conferences and other events have great importance in exchanging experiences and establishing direct business relations. The participants thanked the President for his constant support in attracting young people to the work in the transport and logistics sector.
