TURKMENISTAN AND ARMENIA STRENGTHEN COOPERATION IN DIPLOMATIC TRAINING
On March 30, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a high-level meeting between the Rector of the Institute G.Yusupova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan, Arsen Avagyan.
The meeting, held in a productive and professional atmosphere, focused on the established agreement to enhance cooperation in the field of training specialists for international relations and diplomacy.
During the talks, it was noted that the collaboration between the leading diplomatic forge of Turkmenistan and the Armenian diplomatic mission serves as a vital bridge in the cultural and educational dialogue between the two nations. The Rector briefed the Ambassador on the Institute’s current infrastructure and its role in implementing Turkmenistan’s foreign policy strategy under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan.
Ambassador Arsen Avagyan expressed his commitment to supporting programs that facilitate direct communication between academic circles, noting that such cooperation is essential for fostering a new generation of experts capable of navigating the complexities of modern global politics.
In conclusion, the sides reaffirmed their dedication to the “Agreed-Upon Order” of cooperation, ensuring that all necessary organizational measures are in place to translate these academic discussions into impactful educational outcomes.
