Effective online lectures
On December 11, 2023, on the eve of the International Neutrality Day, online lectures were held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the participation of the students of
the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. A series of lectures were delivered by professors from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (MGIMO).
The first lecture on the topic “ Modern International Relations ” was given by Yu. A. Raikov, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences of the Department of Diplomacy of MGIMO, The second lecture on the topic “Foreign policy and Neutral Turkmenistan” was delivered by O. Muhammetberdiev, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor of the Department of International Relations and diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which took place on December 14.
The third lecture on the topic “Eurasian Balkans in the great world game” was given by Elena G. Ponomareva, Doctor of Political Science, Professor of Comparative Politics Department at MGIMO, which took place on December 15.
At the end of the lectures the students exchanged of ideas on topics with the lecturers.
Such events strengthened the friendly partnership between two diplomatic high educational institutions of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
