ONLINE CONFERENCE WAS HELD
On October 13, 2025, online conference was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of representatives of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
The Ukrainian representatives who spoke at the event gave information about the structure and work of higher education institutions in Ukraine, including the development of international education, as well as the peculiarities of organizing the educational process, the main principles of the work of educational institutions and international programs, noting that attention is paid to establishing relations with a number of foreign higher education institutions in this area.
Turkmenistan has always been a strategic partner, a reliable and trustworthy friend for Ukraine. The Ukrainian people highly appreciate and fully support Turkmenistan's peace-loving policy and the international initiatives it puts forward. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the pillars of peace, security and sustainable development in the region and the world. Among them is the initiative to declare 2025 the "Year of International Peace and Trust". The wide support for this initiative is a clear indication of the need for an effective, coordinated approach to ensuring stability and global security, which is put forward by the Turkmen side.
The meeting will further expand the development of Turkmen-Ukrainian cooperation in the educational sector, defining important and effective directions for cooperation between higher education institutions of the two friendly countries. During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the exchange of modern knowledge and experience, the establishment of intercultural communication, and the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation between higher education institutions.
