An online working meeting was held
On April 18, 2022, at Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held a working meeting via videoconference between Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute and the Center for crises and political studies of Ankara (ANKASAM). The meeting was conducted by the head of ANKASAM Mehmet Seyfettin Erol and the head of Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute Siri Siriyev.
It was noted at the beginning of the meeting that it is the main goal of the Centers to analyze the political events which take place in the world and in the region, underscoring that the prepared analytical reviews have a profound effect on preventing the emergence of a political crisis. Moreover, both sides emphasized the necessity of preparing “Memorandum of mutual cooperation” which will serve as the legal basis for the establishment of partnership between the Centers. Accordingly, it was stated that the variant of the Memorandum which was proposed by Turkmen side would be discussed in the coming days at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their trust in significant influence of such meetings to further develop the work of the Centers and to combine efforts to fight against common threats to the world and the region.
