INTERNATIONAL PROJECT COMPETITION ON «GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY SUPPLY CHAIN STUDENT COMPETITION»
In November 2024, an International Project Competition among students took place on the theme «Global Sustainability Supply Chain Student Competition». Students from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific regions participated in the competition, presenting their innovative project solutions at various stages.
This competition clearly demonstrated to students the opportunities to enhance their academic knowledge and apply a creative approach to solving intercultural problems in a collaborative environment.
A team of students from of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Faculty of International Economic Relations, participated in the competition and achieved a successful result. The first team, named "Young Ambassadors," included: Guljeren Atayeva, Batir Sadullayev, Gulovser Rejepova, Kerim Serdarov. The second team, named "Turkmen - Rhode Green Team," included: Yupar Egirjaeva, Ayjahan Gulhanova, Collin Smith (University of Rhode Island, USA), Thomas Mason (University of Rhode Island, USA).
During the competition, participants worked under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Gaplan Esenamanov, as well as Professor Koray Ozpolat from the University of Rhode Island (USA). As a result of the competition, the teams "Young Ambassadors" and "Turkmen - Rhode Green Team" were awarded certificates, while their mentors received letters of appreciation.
