A FESTIVE CELEBRATION TITLED «GELSE NOWRUZ ÄLEME-REŇ KYLAR JAHAN PEÝDA»
On March 13, 2026, a musical and creative celebration titled «Gelse nowruz äleme-reň kylar jahan peýda / Novruz Comes to the World, Bringing Renewal to the Universe» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized jointly by the Institute’s Women’s Organization and Youth Organization, together with the “Miras” Television and Radio Channel, in honor of the National Spring Holiday – International Novruz Day, which symbolizes peace on earth, good-neighborliness, renewal, and the revival of nature.
The celebration was attended by the Institute’s female lecturers as well as talented student performers from the musical ensemble.
During the event, the speakers highlighted the history and distinctive features of Novruz, one of the most ancient holidays of humankind, and discussed its unique traditions and customs. On the occasion of the year proclaimed as «Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses» students performed musical pieces composed to the poetry of prominent representatives of Turkmen literature, praising the beauty of nature and the spring season – the season of youth and renewal. They also recited inspiring poems with great enthusiasm.
The engaging speeches and the beautiful musical performances left a pleasant and lasting impression on all participants of the meeting.
