A MUSICAL CREATIVE CEREMONY ENTITLED «GELSE NOWRUZ ÄLEME, REŇ KYLAR JAHAN PEÝDA»
On March 15, 2024, a musical creative ceremony called «Gelse Nowruz äleme, reň kylar jahan peýda» dedicated to the International Day of Nowruz was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan organized by the first Women's Organization of the Institute and «Young Journalists» scientific-creative club of the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism. Bibigozel Mammedova, the librarian of the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, Ogulnabat Ovlakova, teacher of the 51st secondary school of Ashgabat, as well as the Institute's music group and young students who are deeply interested in creativity took part in it.
As we know, on the blessed Turkmen land, each season is distinguished by its unique and incomparable beauty. With the arrival of Nowruz, the weather become warm and nature beautiful. In Nowruz, tables are widely laid and families prepare Turkmen national dishes. In this regard, semeni is one of the most delicious meal of this holiday. After all, semeni is the main and obligatory dish at this holiday, a unique decoration of the festive table. Semeni is not only a table decoration, but also a sign of a bountiful harvest.
Speakers at the event speak about the history, characteristics and unique traditions of Nowruz, the oldest holiday of mankind. The students of the Institute performed songs based on the beautiful poems of the outstanding representatives of Turkmen literature, which glorify the beauty of our nature, the spring season.
The interesting speeches and the wonderful music that were played at the meeting left a pleasant impression on the participants.
