RESULTS OF THE ARTICLE-WRITING COMPETITION DEDICATED TO THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR “INDEPENDENT NEUTRAL TURKMENISTAN – THE HOMELAND OF PURPOSEFUL WINGED HORSES” AND THE UNITED NATIONS DAY
On 30 October 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the award ceremony marking the conclusion of the article-writing competition entitled “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” and dedicated to United Nations Day.
The competition was organised by the Young Scientists Council and the “Young Lawyers” scientific club of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law Studies, with the participation of students from the Faculty.
The competition generated considerable interest among student youth. This creative initiative not only contributed to broadening the horizons of the younger generation but also served as an important step towards highlighting, through the perspectives of youth, the significance of the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the United Nations. In their articles, the participants conducted an in-depth analysis of Neutral Turkmenistan’s peace-oriented policy, its environmental initiatives and key priorities in the field of sustainable development. This once again demonstrated the younger generation’s pride in their homeland and their responsible approach to addressing global challenges.
Following the results of the competition, diplomas were awarded to the students who distinguished themselves with their best works.
