A CEREMONIAL MEETING WAS HELD ON THE OCCASION OF THE TRANSLATION OF THE BOOK “JEWEL OF THE MIND” BY THE HERO ARKADAG INTO THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE
On December 22, 2025, a ceremonial meeting was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the translation of the book “Jewel of the Mind” by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, into the Azerbaijani language. The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of permanent missions of foreign countries and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, faculty members of the institute, and students.
During the presentation ceremony, speeches were delivered by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismat Gozalov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Gurbanmammed Elyasov, Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Head of the Turkmen part of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Annamuhammet Sarjayev, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Gulshat Yusupova, Scientific Secretary of the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Candidate of Historical Sciences Kakajan Janbekov, and Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Begench Matliyev.
In their speeches, they emphasized that the translation of the book “Jewel of the Mind” into the Azerbaijani language would help azerbaijani-speaking readers become closely acquainted with the creative work of the Hero Arkadag and the history of the Turkmen people. They underlined that the scientific-philosophical works and literary creations of the National Leader constitute a valuable treasury for the younger generation, especially for future international relations specialists. It was proudly noted that the National Leader’s work “Jewel of the Mind” is a valuable source for studying our glorious history imbued with peace-loving principles, as well as the roots of national diplomacy. On this occasion, they sincerely congratulated the National Leader and the Arkadagly Hero Serdar on the publication of the azerbaijani translation of the book “Jewel of the Mind”.
In addition, within the framework of the presentation ceremony, an exhibition was organized in the foyer of the institute, where a wide range of works by the Honorable President and the Hero Arkadag were displayed. The exhibits of Turkmen decorative and applied arts arouse great interest among the participants of the event.
