Competition Titled “El hünäri - il gezer”
On March 5, 2022, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture hosted the final round of the contest titled “El hünäri – il gezer” ( "Handicraft - the hand of the people”) announced among the students of higher educational institutions of our country. It was attended by Batyr Eseonow, first-year student of the Faculty of International Relations Bator Esenov, Akgozel Rasulova, second-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, Enegul Annamyradova, second-year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, Shohrat Atayev and Annaberdi Kashanov, first-year students of the Faculty of International Journalism together with select teams from higher education institutions of our country and representatives of the mass media.
In the contest, the students competed in knitting, embroidery, weaving aladja, carpet, making pottery and jewelry and glorifying our national heritage.
During the contest, the students recited poems, glorifying the rich past heritage and cultural values of our people, great successes, deeds and accomplishments of our state carried out under the wise leadership of our Hero-Arkadag under the motto of this year “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag”, as well as wonderful artistic utterances of narratives, stories, legends related to our national culture from the wonderful books of our Esteemed President gave to the contest a special national reflection.
The views of national needlework inherited from our grandmothers and grandfathers from generation to generation, national holidays, historical and cultural monuments, the art of making dutar, the art of music and folklore performances further enriched the content of the contest.
As the result of the contest, winners were awarded letters of commendation and gifts from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
At the end of the contest, the participants expressed their gratitude to our Esteemed President. They wished our Esteemed President sound health, further creative success and long life.
