A course dedicating to Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations
On December 23, 2022, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a training course was held with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov and students of the institute within the framework of the Scientific-Methodological Center on Sustainable Development Goals. The Ambassador gave a lecture on the topic "Peculiarities of environmental and water diplomacy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations".
During the meeting the Ambassador informed the students about the history, present day, future of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations, political, diplomatic, economic, trade, cultural, scientific and educational activities between these two friendly countries. As we know, Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations are dynamically developing in a wide range. Fruitful cooperation aimed at the benefit of the two friendly peoples is actively gaining momentum in all areas. Regular contacts at the level of the Foreign Ministries of the two states contribute to building up the potential for political and diplomatic cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the students asked questions about Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations, and received comprehensive answers to their questions. This meeting, dedicated to the Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations, was very interesting and made a great impression on the students.
