TRAINING SESSION ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
On June 28, 2024, training session on Sustainable Development Goals has been held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in accordance with the program for the 2023-2024 academic year, as well as on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of Arkadag city in cooperation with the United Nations in Office in Ashgabat. Representatives of the mass media of our country and the students took part in it.
During the session, the importance of Arkadag city, a world model city of "smart" and "green" technologies, the role of a reliable and stable energy system in ensuring sustainable development, responsible production and consumption and others were discussed. In this regard, the great significance of the city of Arkadag was highlighted. The city of Arkadag is a clear example of the dynamic development of Turkmenistan. Its construction is carried out on the basis of advanced methods of architecture and urban construction in accordance with the standards of "smart" cities, "green" technologies and high environmental standards.
