A training session on Sustainable Development Goals
On April 8, 2021, a training session on Sustainable Development Goals was organized at the 21st Specialized School of Ashgabat city. The course was organized by the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals and was attended by Young SDG Ambassadors for Sustainable Development Goals, as well as students of the school.
During the session, which was conducted by Young SDG Ambassadors, it was paid special attention to the goal 15 of Sustainable Development Goals, which focuses on protecting, restoring and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combating desertification, and halting and reversing land degradation and halting biodiversity loss. The importance of achieving the goal 15 was highlighted by concrete examples.
During the session practical steps taken in this direction by our country under the wise leadership of our highly esteemed President were highlighted.
At the end of the session, the participants expressed their gratitude to our highly esteemed President for the favorable opportunities created.
