LANGUAGES AS A BRIDGE OF FRIENDSHIP
On December 21, 2022, a festive concert called “Beauty of World Culture is in Languages” was held at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi. It was organized within the framework of the competitions called “Languages – a Bridge of Friendship” among higher educational institutions of the country in order to implement the “Concept for the development of teaching foreign languages in Turkmenistan” and the “Concept for the development of the digital education system”.
At the concert, the students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan performed in different world languages. At the beginning of the concert, there was an awarding ceremony for the students and teaching staff who won at the competitions titled “Languages as a Bridge of Friendship”. At this ceremony, the students and teaching staff of our higher educational institution were also awarded.
More precisely, Nazar Niyazov, a lecturer of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, was awarded a certificate for his active participation in the discussion organized under the title “How to improve the effectiveness of language teaching?”, on November 9 of this year.
On November 17, a group of students of our Institute won the first place in the contest called “Values of the Country” took place at the State Museum of the State Culture Center of Turkmenistan. The winners are Akgozel Rasulova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, Berdigylych Yazmyradov, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism and Mahym Kakayeva, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations. They were awarded with a certificate. The Scientific-Practical Conference “Achievements of young professionals in language teaching and learning” was held. Batyrmuhammet Orazov, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of our institute, and Intizar Taganiyazov, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of International Law, successfully participated in it and were awarded letters of honor.
In addition, on December 17 of this year, a scientific-practical conference c “National and International Practice of Teaching Languages” was held. Mahriban Gelenova, a senior teacher of the Department of World Languages of our institute, participated in it and was awarded with an honorary letter.
We would like to congratulate our fellow students and teachers on their achievements and wish them great success in the creative world in the future.
