Language – the Key to the World
On March 29, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages hosted a regular meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Teaching of Languages in Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by teachers and specialists in foreign languages of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Education, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the higher education institutions of the country, the provinces and the city of Ashgabat. The meeting was attended by Batyr Kairov and Osman Hemzayev from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of the Concept for Improving Teaching Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan and its Action Plan. During the meeting, it was noted that it is important to rely on the national and world experience in teaching foreign languages in our country. It was also stressed that many conditions and opportunities have been created in our state for the study of world languages by the younger generation.
