A CONSULTATIVE MEETING WITH YOUTH ENTITLED “DIALOGUE IS A GUARANTEE OF PEACE”
On April 27, 2023, a consultative meeting with youth entitled “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace”, was held by the Secretariat of the National Committee of Turkmenistan on the affairs of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis, the Ministry of Education and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was conducted by B. Matliyev, the vice-rector of scientific work of the Institute of International relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Hero of Turkmenistan, responsible secretary of Turkmenistan’s national commission on the affairs of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Chinar Rustemova and deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, a member of the Committee on International and Parliamentary Relations Kerimguly Geldiyev, as well as professors and students of our institute participated in this meeting. As it is known that the phrase "Dialogue is the guarantee of peace" is of importance and provides the best opportunity by diplomatic peaceful means to reduce the level of any conflict in the world and has an impact on the improving and strengthening of world peace.
At the meeting, a number of speeches were made on this important topic. They made meaningful speeches. In their speeches, they underlined the achievements of Turkmenistan in the foreign policy, the proposal of the philosophy “Dialogue – the guarantee of peace” put forward by our state to the world community, as well as the cooperation of the state in the fields of science, education and culture in international relations. They also proudly noted that Turkmenistan, based on the status of permanent neutrality, constantly strengthens close relations with the countries of the world and international organizations and is ready to contribute to its efforts to ensure peace on Earth.
During the meeting, the participants of the consultation emphasized that the Resolution “2023 – International Year of Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace” adopted during the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly is based on the international initiatives that take into account the interests of humanity achieved by our country over the years.
So, it should be noted with confidence that this motto is considered to be of great importance for all spheres of development of the beloved country.
