THE SECOND ROUND OF THE SUBJECT OLYMPIAD WAS HELD
On April 14, 2025, the second round of the Olympiad titled “Watanyň daýanjy
– bilimli ýaşlar, Arkadagly Gahryman Serdaryň guwanjy ýaşlar!” was held at the
Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Turkmenistan. The event was organized in cooperation with the Central Council of
the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan. The Olympiad was
dedicated to the International Day of Education, proclaimed by the United Nations
General Assembly in its resolution of December 3, 2018, to celebrate the
significant role of education in achieving global peace and sustainable
development.
A total of 178 students from all regions of the country, including the cities
of Ashgabat and Arkadag, who qualified for the second round of the subject
Olympiad, took part in the competition. Based on the results of both the first and
second rounds, first place was awarded to Mahri Durdynazarova, a 12th-grade
student of Secondary School No. 46 specialized in exact and natural sciences, in
Ak Bugday district, and to Annajemal Arslanova and Merjen Owezberdiyeva,
12th-grade students of Secondary School No. 43 specialized in exact
and natural sciences, in Shatlyk city, Sakarchage district of Mary province. Second
place was awarded to Nazik Amanova, a 12th-grade student of Secondary School
No. 19 in Mary city; Bibiaisha Mekanova, a 12th-grade student of Secondary
School No. 1 in Sakarchage district of Mary province; and Ata Toylyev, a 12th-
grade student of Secondary School No. 43 specialized in exact
and natural sciences, in Shatlyk city, Sakarchage district of Mary province.
Third place was awarded to Maya Akmyradova and Guljennet Alyýewa, 12th-
grade students of Secondary School No. 36 in Murgap district of Mary province, as
well as to Muhammetnur Maksatmyradov, a 12th-grade student of Secondary
School No. 43 specialized in exact and natural sciences, in Shatlyk city,
Sakarchage district of Mary province.
