The delegation of Turkmenistan visited the building of the city hall of Tokyo
On April 27, 2023, the visit of the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan to the Tokyo City Hall was an important event in the development of relations between the two countries in the scientific and educational field. During the visit, the Turkmen delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Japanese capital in the field of science and education, and also discussed the prospects for cooperation in this area.
The Turkmen side also invited representatives of the Tokyo municipality to the upcoming opening ceremony of the "smart city" Arkadag in Turkmenistan. This project, which is one of the key elements of the development strategy of Turkmenistan, includes the use of advanced technologies in all spheres of life of citizens.
