EXCITING TOURS WERE ORGANIZED FOR FOREIGN VISITORS
On May 24, 2024, in the frames of the program of the International Competition «International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Relations» which is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, the foreign guests were taken to the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets and the State Museum of the Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
The participants of this international competition were the students and professors of the higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the People ’s Republic of China, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Turkiye, and the Russian Federation. During the tour, the guests visited the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets and got acquaintance with the history of our beautiful carpets, which represent the history of the Turkmen people. The guests were impressed by our carpets, woolen and silk carpets, which were woven by the Turkmen women and entered the Guinness Book of Records, as well as the Turkmen yurts, national dresses. They got acquainted with the weaving art of the Turkmen carpet in the museum and tried to weave it themselves.
After the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets, the guests visited to the State Museum of the Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Here the guests got acquainted with the exhibits related to the glorious history of the Turkmen people. The guest from the Republic of Uzbekistan Hojayev Lutfiddin Nasrullayevich expressed his impressions of the State Museum of Cultural Center of Turkmenistan as following: “Friendship between the Turkmen people and Uzbek people has been going on for a long time. We came to the museum with the historical information about the ancient Turkmen era of the Margush Kingdom, the Parthian State, and the fortresses of Nisa. We were greatly impressed by the findings, the achievements of the Independent Neutral State, and the traditions of the Turkmen people. I was greatly impressed by them. We also liked your nation’s respect to Elders, respect to your youth. Because, the State where is respected elders and young people, there we can see its past, present and future. This state is infrangible”.
Participants of the tour expressed their gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the great opportunities created to reveal the abilities and talents of the young generation in the country.
