World Teacher’s Day
World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October since 1994, to celebrate all teachers around the globe. It commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, which sets benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers, and standards for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions.
Teachers play an important role in our lives. Knowledge and advises, that they give, help us to choose right way in life. To highlight the teacher’s significance in society was founded special World Teacher’s Day.
This holiday is a wonderful occasion to express deep gratitude to our teachers, to remember the first mentors who, by their example, taught us to be kind, fair and humane.
