"Brain Ring" competition entitled "Dialogue is a guarantee of peace"
On February 17, 2023, on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the Brain Ring competition called “Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace” with the participation of students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, International University for the Humanities and Development, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National institute of World languages, as well as the students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The jury members of the competition were UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan Dmitry Shlapachenko, UNICEF Representative in Turkmenistan Mohammad Fayyazi, the Chief specialist of the international cooperation department of the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization Merjen Muhammedova.
According to the results of the Brain Ring competition, the student team of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan took the 1st place, the student team of the International University for the Humanities and Development took the 2nd place, and the student team of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University took the 3rd place. In addition, Enejan Achilova, a student of the International University for the Humanities and Development won in the “Best Speaker” nomination. Diplomas and valuable gifts were presented to the winners and participants of the competition.
The holding of such competitions among students contributes to the popularization of a peaceful humane policy, which is the national diplomatic principle of our state, the formation of an understanding among young people of the need to revive a culture of mutual trust and unity in resolving issues of universal significance, as well as expanding scientific and cultural ties among young people.
