Excursion to the “Neutrality Museum” Located in the “30th Anniversary of Neutrality” Building
On December 28, 2025, with the participation of students and faculty members of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, an excursion was organized to the branch of the “Neutrality Museum” of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The museum is located in the “30th Anniversary of Neutrality” building, constructed in the southern part of the capital city at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains.
The museum presents documents, photographs, and exhibits reflecting the most significant events within the framework of the domestic and foreign policy of our country. The columns of the building are adorned with images depicting the rich history of Turkmenistan, covering periods from ancient times beginning with legends about Oghuz Khan, the progenitor of the Turkmen people, and his six sons through the era of the Great Seljuk Turkmens, the state of the Turkmens of Kunya-Urgench, as well as the periods of Gorogly and Magtymguly. In addition, the path of development in culture, art, science, and education from the Revival era to the present Independence period is vividly illustrated.
The distinctive features of the “30th Anniversary of Neutrality” building, which embodies Turkmenistan’s unwavering commitment to the principles of humanism, peace, creativity, and goodwill, aroused great interest among international students. Moreover, the magnificent books authored by the Hero Arkadag, imbued with profound wisdom, along with ancient national treasures and gold-plated gifts displayed in the museum, left an unforgettable impression on the students.
