BRAIN RING
On October 25, 2022, a competition called “Brain-Ring” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Brain-Ring dedicated to the United Nations Day was organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, as well as the Scientific Club “Young Lawyers” and the Department of International Law and Comparative Jurisprudence of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The competition was attended by a group of students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The main goal is to learn about the UN, its specialized agencies and organizations, as well as their role in the system of modern international relations. Moreover, this competition, aimed at widening knowledge about the main directions, types, scope and importance of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN system, took place in a lively manner.
In the first round of the competition, the teams made a 3-minute presentation on the given topic. As a result of this competitive round, the teams of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, as well as the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan successfully performed and got the opportunity to participate in the final round. The final round between the two teams was even more competitive and full of interesting events. The result of the final round competition of students announced the winner.
Thus, the team of students from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University was declared the winner of the competition. The winning team was awarded certificates of appreciation, souvenirs and a miniature trophy of the competition.
