Brain ring competition “Knowledge is the key to bright future”
On May 23, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a brain ring competition among the students of four faculties entitled “Knowledge is a key to bright future”. The competition, organized by the Lingvo World Club of the Department of World Languages of the Institute, consisted of three rounds and was held in English.
During the brain ring competition, students were invited to answer questions on general knowledge, proverbs and sayings, questions related to their specialties. In addition, students read poems by Magtymguly Pyragy and by other poets in English and Turkmen, thus demonstrating their knowledge in the English language.
The competition was held to identify students’ abilities, to develop their critical thinking and to promote the importance of knowledge and education. After the final round, the juries summed up the scores. According to the scores of the competition, the students of the Faculty of International Relations won the first place, the students of the Faculty of International Journalism won the second place, and the students of the Faculty of International Law won the third place.
