Scientific-Practical Conference “Role of the Great Silk Road in the Development of Cultural Relations and Ecological Cooperation”
On October 18, 2021, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference titled “Role of the Great Silk Road in the development of cultural relations and ecological cooperation.” Scientists from the Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the teaching staff and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan attended the conference.
During the meeting, Ogulgurban Ezimova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, Ph.D., Pashaguly Garayev and Merdan Nepesov, Research Fellows of the Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, emphasized the role of the Great Silk Road in the development of cultural relations and protection of ecology through interesting information from the book by the President of Turkmenistan Turkmenistan - the Heart of the Great Silk Road. It is also important to note that the Great Silk Road played a key role in negotiations between the two great civilizations of the West and the East, not only by caravan routes, but also by the spread of science, education, cultural, spiritual values, discoveries, and expertise in economic management. The participants made interesting speeches and highlighted the importance of the role of the Great Silk Road in strengthening regional ecology and prosperity, as well as in diplomatic relations, especially in ensuring peace.
The scientific-practical conference was productive and important for the participants, especially for students.
