THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY
On April 28, 2025, a trip to the “People’s Memory” Memorial Complex was organized by the scientific club “Wisdom and Intelligence” under the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in honor of the 80th anniversary of the glorious victory in the Great Patriotic War. Enthusiastic students of the institute, winners of the “Young Messengers of Peace” intellectual competition, and schoolchildren who are members of the “Young Diplomats” school participated in the trip. The excursion, organized by lecturers of the Department of Social Sciences, left a pleasant impression on the participants.
The complex includes the “Sacredness of the Motherland” museum, which consists of four halls. It is worth noting that electronic displays placed in the museum’s exhibits were used for the first time in the country to organize excursions using digital technology.
The students and schoolchildren toured the halls of the museum dedicated to the military heroism of Turkmens in the Great Patriotic War and the bravery shown in the Battle of Geok-depe.
The excursion organized by the lecturers of the Department of Social Sciences left a pleasant impression on the participants. Of course, such cultural events play a significant role in educating our youth in the spirit of patriotism and fostering their interest in our glorious history.
