Press Briefing Dedicated to Our Great Poet
On June 29, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a press briefing entitled «Magtymguly Pyragy - the Founder of the Scientific and Philosophical Foundations of Turkmen Statehood,» dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classical poet and great thinker Magtymguly Pyragy. Professors, lecturers and students of the national school of Turkmen Diplomacy took an active part in it. The press briefing was jointly organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism and the scientific and creative club «Young Journalists.» At the briefing, the creative heritage of the great poet, his role in educating the younger generation and international events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the poet’s birth were discussed in detail. The participants noted that the literary heritage of the great master of words Magtymguly Pyragy is known and studied throughout the world.
