BAKU ENERGY FORUM
The Baku Energy Forum of the Caspian Oil and Gas Conference kicked off in Baku, Azerbaijan on Thursday, June 2, as part of Energy Week. The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). The forum is hosted by Iteca Caspian and its international partners.
Iranian Oil Minister Jawad Oji has arrived in Baku to attend the forum. During the three-day visit, talks were held on the development of bilateral relations and the prospects for regional and international cooperation.
Energy Week participants attended the seminar titled the “Regular Chain Management for Storage and Supply of Oil Products with Different Features”, the Conference “HSE Management in the Oil Sector”, during which presentations were made by participating companies. The first two days of the Forum were held at the Congress Center in Baku, after which the participants of the international event went on a free tour of Azerbaijan.
The last day of the Energy Forum and the closing ceremony took place on June 4 in the center of Karabakh – in the city of Shusha. This year the event was attended by more than 400 delegates from 20 countries and the program covered 25 topics from 50 speakers.
The Caspian region also plans to develop new production facilities, gas pipelines, oil refining and petrochemical projects.
