SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE ENTITLED “ASHGABAT IS THE PEARL OF CENTRAL ASIA"
On May 10, 2021, a scientific-practical conference entitled "Ashgabat is the pearl of Central Asia", dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the founding of Ashgabat, was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was attended by the teaching staff and student youth of the Institute.
During the conference impressive speeches were delivered on the themes such as "Ashgabat is the ecologically clean capital of the region", "Economic developments of Ashgabat", "History and present day of Ashgabat", "Ashgabat is the city with the highest number of white marble buildings in the world", "Reflection of the past – white marble city Ashgabat", “Ashgabat – peace-making center”, “Fraternal cities of Ashgabat” and “Ashgabat is in the Guinness Book of Records”. In addition, during the conference, presentations and video films that reflect a vivid image of our white marble city were presented.
Holding such a scientific-practical conference is a clear sign that the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat is being celebrated with great solemnity.
