SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “ASHGABAT – THE PEARL OF ASIA”
On April 5, 2021, a scientific-practical conference titled “Ashgabat – the Pearl of Asia” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat city. Scientists from the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, professors and students participated in the conference. It was organized by the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting was chaired by Ogulgurban Ezimova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, Ph. D. and she spoke about the great work being carried out by our esteemed President aimed to ensure environmental well-being and security of our capital city, Ashgabat.
In addition, during the conference, Merdan Nepesov and Atageldy Nepesov, Research Fellows from the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, and Jemile Purjayeva, Lecturer of the Department of Theory and practice of Journalism of the Institute of International Relations, made presentations about 140-year historical way of development of Ashgabat city. They also told about the work being carried out today to create a unique architectural appearance of our beautiful city.
