Online Seminar on the Importance of Journalism in Emergencie
On July 4-5, 2022, within the framework of the project “Promoting the capacity of public institutions to communicate with the media in emergencies”, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held an online training seminar organized by the Ashgabat Center for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The consultation was attended by international experts, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, specialists of various ministries and law enforcement agencies of our country, higher educational institutions, as well as the media.
During the training seminar, giving concrete examples from international experience of cooperation, speakers spoke about the importance of media interaction with government agencies in order to promptly bring news to the public from the scene of emergency events.
