A solemn ceremony was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to honor the first group of graduates of a new structural unit of the university - a training center called “Diplomatic Protocol”.
It is worth noting that its opening took place in February 2024, on the day of the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan.
As you know, the work of the Center is primarily aimed at improving skills in the field of developing international cooperation and increasing the relevant professional competencies of specialists from various ministries and departments, whose mission is closely related to serving foreign guests in the framework of holding major international events in our country on various thematic vectors, says the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
As representatives of the Higher School of Diplomacy emphasized, the textbook, aimed at mastering primary knowledge on the ethics of civil servants and the basics of diplomatic protocol, was specially developed for these advanced training courses by a representative of the university’s department of international relations - Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdiyev.
This special course meets the priorities of the curriculum, which in turn was developed in accordance with the special regulations of the Diplomatic Protocol Center.
It is worth noting that studies on the basis of a structural university unit take place in the evening hours, which allows students to increase professional competencies without interrupting their work after completing their working day.
